Performance.
Roots
This performance explores the concept of cyclicality, demonstrating the inseparable connection between humans and nature. The first part reveals the merging of humans with nature, symbolising a return to the roots and an acceptance of natural elements. This emphasises the continuous exchange between humans and the earth, indicating that everything ultimately returns to nature.
The second part presents the idea of rebirth through dissolution into the earth, highlighting the cyclicality of life and death. Here, individuals become part of nature, allowing themselves to be absorbed by it.
In the third part, new life sprouts, symbolising the beginning of a new cycle, representing interdependence and the endless cycle of growth, decay, and regeneration, illustrating how humans and nature mutually support and nourish each other.
Each part illustrates different phases of this cycle, enabling viewers to perceive the relationship between humans and nature from a new perspective and gain a deeper understanding of the perpetual circle of life.
